Mr. McLaughlin joined Berluti, McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP in 2011 as a partner of the firm, bringing with him an established practice representing private closely held and family businesses and their owners. Mr. McLaughlin focuses his practice on the representation of closely-held and family-owned businesses and their owners including business formation and start-up, shareholder and buy-sell agreements, mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs and inter-family transitions. In addition, Mr. McLaughlin deals with all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions and estate planning, and has extensive trial experience in civil and criminal litigation, including business disputes, personal injury, and real estate litigation.
Prior to joining Berluti, McLaughlin & Kutchin, Mr. McLaughlin was a partner at Berluti & McLaughlin LLC and served as an Assistant District Attorney for Suffolk County and a Partner of Voke & McLaughlin.
Mr. McLaughlin is a member of the Massachusetts Bar. He is also affiliated with the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Massachusetts Conveyancers Association.
Mr. McLaughlin has been published in the Boston Business Journal and Banker & Tradesman.
He received a Juris Doctor cum laude from Suffolk University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Tufts University.
