Estate Planning Associate

Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP (BMK) seeks an estate planning attorney with 3-7 years of experience to join its thriving trusts and estates and business succession planning practice group. BMK is a full-service law firm in Boston, focused on serving a diverse group of closely-held businesses and high net worth individuals and committed to providing clients with the highest quality work and service. The ideal candidate will be proficient in probate, trust and estate administration, estate and gift tax return preparation, and drafting basic estate planning documents.

A strong work ethic and very good practice management and interpersonal skills are essential.

Candidates should have excellent academic credentials and be a motivated self-starter with a desire to work in a fast-paced and collegial environment. Large firm experience and/or portable billings are a significant plus, but not required, and all candidates will be considered. This is a full time, in-office position in Boston.

Corporate Paralegal

BMK is a full-service law firm in Boston, focused on serving a diverse group of closely-held businesses and high net worth individuals and committed to providing clients with the highest quality work and service. This is an ideal opportunity to join and play a key, hands-on, role in working directly with clients on sophisticated matters as part of BMK’s thriving business practice group.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with business clients in the following areas:

  • Preparing and filing of documents with the Massachusetts Secretary of State and the secretaries of other states;
  • Preparation of documents to organize corporations and limited liability companies;
  • Review and analysis of lien search results and preparation and filing of UCC forms;
  • Organization of company minute books; and
  • Communicate with clients to execute and compile legal documents

Excellent communication skills are key: ability to listen, actively engage, and concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form.

A strong work ethic, practice management and interpersonal skills are essential.

Candidates should have excellent academic credentials and be a motivated self-starter with a desire to work in a fast-paced and collegial environment. Large firm experience not required, but a significant plus.
