BMK attorneys Robert Berluti and Brendan Cooke represented a tax firm in a dispute with a former client who refused to pay the agreed-upon contingent fee for a whistleblower claim submitted to the IRS by the firm on behalf of the former client. Following a jury-waived trial, the Superior Court awarded BMK’s client over $1.9 Million in damages, including interest, costs, and legal fees.
