Robert Berluti, a founding partner at Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP, practices all aspects of complex civil litigation. He has extensive experience in jury and bench trials of all forms of business and employment disputes including closely held business disputes, shareholder disputes, employment and severance contract review and litigation, and other litigation matters within employment law. His accomplishments include securing the largest Massachusetts jury verdict ever recorded in an age discrimination case. His clients include large and small businesses in diverse industries.
Kerry R. Northup has been a partner at Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP since 2011, bringing extensive experience in both corporate transactions and business litigation to the firm. He has represented commercial lenders in both single loan and structured middle market financings, including acquisition financing, and represented closely held businesses and portfolio companies of private equity funds in ongoing corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, and business disputes.
Brendan Cooke focuses his practice on litigating disputes involving real estate, easement rights, breach of contract, and fiduciary disputes. Mr. Cooke began his legal career at Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP as a law clerk, gaining crucial experience with the firm’s focus on results driven strategy, client focused advocacy, and preparation for litigation to maximize early case resolution. He now implements that experience in his practice at Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP to secure favorable results for clients.
