Robert Berluti, Matthew Dunn and Liane Keister are set to be recognized in this year’s 32nd Annual Best Lawyers List® for their work in specified practice areas.

BestLawyers.com was formed in 1981 to help procure a list of the best attorneys in America to be used by the public to find reliable representation. Their goal was to create a place that allowed for the “most reliable, unbiased source of legal referrals everything” (www.bestlawyers.com/history). The list is created by using ‘peer-reviewed’ methodology in which each nominated lawyer is reviewed by a panel of peers utilizing online and print surveys. Best Lawyers® now releases peer-reviewed lists in 76 countries all over the globe and is joined by Best Law Firms®, which recognizes firms in a specified area that are excelling within the industry of law, and Ones to Watch®, which focuses on up-and-coming talent in the legal industry.

Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin have three partners being recognized this year, Robert Berluti, Matthew Dunn, and Liane Keister. While Berluti and Dunn are being recognized on the Best Lawyers List®; Keister will be listed on the Ones to Watch® List, which includes a nomination for Best Lawyers 2027. Robert Berluti has been recognized for his work in Labor and Employment law as well as commercial litigation within the labor and employment specialty. Matthew Dunn and Liane Keister are recognized for their work in Real Estate law with Keister also being recognized for her work within Corporate Law.

Robert Berluti has been practicing for over 45 years within all aspects of complex civil litigation. He has extensive experience in jury and bench trials in which he primarily represents small and large business entities. He also has experience within business disputes, employment law, trade secrets, class action wage and hour cases, real estate and investor – broker disputes. In addition to trial, Berluti has extensive experience with alternative dispute resolution such as mediation and arbitration. Berluti was recognized by Best Lawyers on their Ones to Watch® list in 2023.

Matthew Dunn has been practicing for almost 25 years and has extensive experience in real-estate transactions and disputes, zoning matters, complex civil disputes, eminent domain and landlord/tenant matters.

This is Dunns second year consecutively being recognized by Best Lawyers for his work withing Real Estate Law; being recognized last year on the Ones to Watch® list.

Liane Keister is a partner here at BMK and has been practicing for almost 13 years after graduating from Suffolk University Law School Cum Laude in 2013. She primarily focuses her practice on estate planning, business succession planning, trust and estates administration and retirement and wealth planning. Keister is not only barred in Massachusetts but also has been sworn into the New Hampshire Bar Organization. 2026 will be the first time Keister has been recognized by Best Lawyers Ones to Watch® and has already secured a nomination for the 2027 Best Lawyers® List.
